Here's a list of some of my favorite online resources for guitar and bass building.

Ebay - Online marketplace. This is the best source for materials as far as I'm concerned.

Guitar Electronics - All sorts of electronic components for your guitar or bass project. Plus they've got one of the best libraries of wiring diagrams I've seen online.

StewMac - Great site for luthier supplies. Be sure to click the "free information" link at the bottom for a wealth of free information on making your own custom guitar or bass.

Guitar Nuts - The name says it all. Great site for wiring theory.

Talk Bass - Online forum to talk about bass. Many of the discussions are started by luthiers.
