Lola

I made my first bass in 2003. I tried to keep the design as simple as possible. It was, nevertheless, quite a challenge. Lola was constructed from a solid piece of figured maple with a bolt on neck. Franken Bass

This is my current project. It represents a huge step up in complexity from Lola. This bass will feature a mahogony body with a padauk top. The electronics are much much more complicated than anything else I've tried. The idea is to provide a half dozen different pickup configurations including a classic P-Bass, Jazz bass and single humbucker all in one bass. More...
